Right to Amend
JPMorgan Chase reserves the right to amend, modify (including cost of participation), reduce or curtail benefits under, or terminate the Long-Term Care Insurance Plan at any time for any reason by act of the Compensation and Benefits Executive, other authorized officers, or the Board of Directors. In addition, the Long-Term Care Insurance Plan does not represent a vested benefit.
JPMorgan Chase also reserves the right to amend any of the plans and policies, to change the method of providing benefits, to curtail or reduce future benefits, or to terminate at any time for any reason any or all of the plans and policies described in this Guide. Neither this Guide nor the benefits described in this Guide create a contract or a guarantee of employment between JPMorgan Chase and any retiree.
If JPMorgan Chase amends, modifies, or reduces benefits under the Long-Term Care Insurance Plan, all people who are insured at that time will have the right to maintain their current coverage in effect at that time by electing to convert to an individual policy directly through MetLife.
